SSL Plug-In Component

The SSL Plug-in enables the EasyMail Objects to communicate to e-mail servers over SSL connections.  The plug-in is sold separately and interfaces with the SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4 objects to provide the SSL services. The plug-in supports both client and server certificates.

The plug-in provides access to certificate stores and enumerates certificates.

Interfaces with the SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4 Objects
With the SSL Plug-in, the SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4 objects can easily communicate via SSL.

Easy to Understand and Use Object Model
Intuitive object hierarchy and use of collection objects makes working with messages much easier.

System Requirements

A license for the EasyMail Objects 6.02 or higher is required to use the SSL Plug-in. Licenses for the EasyMail Objects are sold separately.

The SSL Plug-in Object uses Microsoft SSPI, and is supported by the following operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and ME
     
  • NT 4.0 requires service pack 4 or greater.
